My passion for the mountains suddenly sprung to life back in 2005 when I spent a season in Tremblant, Canada, and first qualified as an instructor. Since then, I have retrained with the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) and have achieved my ISIA Alpine and Adaptive skiing qualifications.
Now nearing completion of my ISTD Alpine, I have worked for Disability Snowsport UK since 2010 running their adaptive ski school at SNO!zone Milton Keynes, specialising in teaching skiing to those with disabilities.
Spending the winters in Tignes, France I look forward to returning to the UK each summer to deliver adaptive instructor training sessions under my company Snowlimits (www.snowlimits.co.uk).
You should book a lesson with me because...
Having specialised in teaching adaptive skiing for the past two years, I am able to adapt to any learners needs, and just love the moment when you see someone new to the sport fall in love with it.
Whether you are looking for a challenging technical lesson, or a more gentle approach I can help you achieve your full potential. For those who are looking for a confidence boost on the slopes, whether from a bad experience or returning to the snow after some time away, we can work together to tailor the lesson to suit your every need, and work with you to build your confidence up and help you love skiing as much as I do.
Favourite Mountain Snack
Hot chocolate with all the trimmings!
I couldn't ski without...
properly fitted ski boots! For years I was using boots that were too big and to wide and this not only affected my technique, but confidence too. If you buy just one piece of hardware (after your helmet!), I would definitely recommend boots before skis.
